In January 2005, a group of mostly farmers decided to raise awareness of Singapore’s rural northern-western corner. KCA was thus established to develop and publicize Kranji Countryside as a recreational and educational venue.
Other than being an alternative venue, KCA dedicates efforts to aid local farmers increase production of home-grown products like eggs, fish, milk, fruits, vegetables and ornamental plants.
In this age of urban lifestyles and heavy media influences, KCA sincerely advocates the dire need to remember Mother Nature. Believing in starting young, KCA hopes to introduce children to Nature, to learn, appreciate and treasure the natural environment. Morchoo & Titoy are KCA’s green ambassadors designed specifically to create characters that children, and people of all ages for that matter, can easily relate KCA to. |

The LOHAS movement aims to educate and provide resources for business and individuals on the market of healthy and sustainable lifestyles through the 5 key messages of Leadership, Celebration, Effective Messaging, Shared Vision, Networking and Education.
In November 2009, Gardenasia was announced to the press as part of the world’s first LOHAS region that is Kranji!
The LOHAS movement aims to educate and provide resources for business and individuals on the market of healthy and sustainable lifestyles through the 5 key messages of Leadership, Celebration, Effective Messaging, Shared Vision, Networking and Education.
At its very heart, Gardenasia “a working countryside, with respect for biodiversity and the environment at its core, as well as a series of leisure facilities for the visitors to the area”. |

“The reality series that celebrates the spirit of creative innovation, allowing Asia's aspiring talents to discover their potential and unleash their creative passion. Every week the contestants will be divided into groups and given a challenge. They have to rely on each other and come up with creative solutions to the challenges. Only 1 team
will emerge winners and the losing team may be eliminated.”
