Innovative thinking, Creativity and working as a team to overcome challenges, solve puzzles, etc all that lead to better team dynamic and performance. KEY OBJECTIVES: 1) TEAMWORK While working alone might reduce conflicts, working as a team has its advantages. With various strengths working on the same task, things are completed faster. With a few heads put together, new ideas are thrown up; the end result is original and creative. Group dynamics generates positive vibes that motivates everyone through and through, such that the team is roaring and ready to tackle head on even the most unexpected situations. 2) COMMUNICATIONS Whenever receiving new information, we need to be discerning. This ensures efficiency and productivity. However, because we process so much information every day, we tend to dismiss and forget about the “irrelevant” information that can actually prove useful later on. The importance of communication is especially evident when the final recipient delivers what is not intended. The method of delivery, the way the information is received and understood produces varying results. 3) SUSTAINABILITY – Go Local, Buy Local While food shortage and extreme hunger are far from the average Singaporean’s consciousness, Singapore is not immune to the global food crisis. The ability to be self-sufficient, wholly or partly, directly contributes to national security. Due to competing land and resource uses, it is unrealistic to expect Singapore to be 100 per cent self-sufficient in food production. Attaining greater food security and expanding local agriculture will be an ongoing process of improvement, and the benefits will spill over to the broader economy in terms of employment, empowerment, education and environment. “Be Naturally Inspired” is what Gardenasia lives by; a lifestyle we all yearn for “after we have made enough money to retire in a house by the sea”.
